More Versatile and Powerful Than Ever Before

The first thing Sweetwater guitarists noticed about the original Pollinator germanium fuzz pedal was how well it nailed those Hendrix-style tones and the remarkable amount of headroom it had to offer. But with roughly double output and headroom, the Pollinator V2 picks up where the older design left off. An external Bias knob lets you dial in the power to the Pollinator V2's hand-matched germanium AC128 transistors for smooth or spitting fuzz tones. And the addition of a gain control on the Pollinator V2 dials in the pre-gain of the pedal, interacting with the fuzz for any shade of dirt you desire.

JHS Pollinator V2 Fuzz Guitar Effect Features:
  • Vintage-style germanium fuzz with a wide range of tones
  • 4-knob layout dials in slight overdrive to over-the-top fuzz
  • Twice the headroom and volume of the original Pollinator
  • Hand-matched germanium AC128 transistors
  • Bias control from smooth and fluid to spitting and aggressive
The JHS Pollinator V2 sounds like the classics, but with way more power.

JHS Pollinator V2

Surprised is one word I would use to sum up my experience with this pedal. I'd always really wanted to like fuzz pedals, but had nevertheless failed to find one that really inspired me until... Enter the JHS Pollinator V2. I did something very out of character for me and bought this on a whim almost immediately after hearing JayLeonardJ on YouTube demo this pedal. So without further ado, lets take a walk down review block shall we? Build Quality 5/5 Not much to say here, top quality components in and out, solid build quality that JHS seems to have a really good handle on. Everything feels really good to use, and I have no concerns about longevity. If something broke (highly doubtful) I've only heard great things about JHS as far as customer service and standing behind their product. Usability 5/5 It doesn't seem right that you could get so much range out of only 4 knobs. It's very easy to dial in so many different sounds on this pedal and do so very quickly. The Gain knob is an absolutely wonderful addition to this circuit, and I'm glad they thought of it as it helps dial this pedal in for different pickups very handily. Sound 5/5 Fuzz heaven. In conjunction with my volume knob, I've been finding so many wonderful sounds that I'd never heard anywhere other than in my head (I'm sure they're out there though) and it has been absolutely inspiring. This is on my NEVER TRADE list. It's going to stay in my arsenal for years to come. One other thing I've noted about this pedal that makes me like it even more is how nicely other pedals interact with it. I've thrown a compressor behind it and my palisades in front of it and I've found that with these other in the mix pedals I can get so many shades of fuzz that it'd make even the most wholesome player blush. You should totally give this pedal a shot if you're sitting on the fence. I'm certain you will only be disappointed if you don't check it out. A fun, inspiring, and musical fuzz.
