Fender Passport Sounds Fantastiic

Purchased the Fender Passport Venue and the sound is fantastic. I have a Gibson J15 that with the passport booster button gives it an extra sound boost. The tone is great and the passport is light weight and easy to transport.

Fender Passport Venue

Used the system in an outdoor gathering for music and announcements. Worked really well, easy to use, very effective. Nice package to put everything together for storage for next time. This is the latest in 4 or 5 we've purchased over the last 10 years - will likely choose Fender again in the future. Sweetwater shipped amazingly fast, go the unit exactly when planned. Easy to deal with and order from - will certainly check the Sweetwater website the next time I'm shopping.

Very Satisfied

I purchased the Fender Venue system with the thought that it would be great for outdoor applications where a small band (or recorded music) was desired. It has served me well in those and many other uses. Although I've never considered the low-end sound "thin" I remain eager to connect a Fender PS-512 subwoffer to hear the difference. The thing I appreciate the most is the system's light weight and ease of use ... oh, and the fact that the Fender tone remains second to none in both their amps and portable PA's.

Nice Features

I really like the Passport PA Systems. I have two of the Passport Events and one of the Passport Venue. I use the Venue for an outdoor movie theater and for performances. It delivers great sound that EVERYONE can hear. If i had to choose between the two I would get the Passport Event. It is surprising to me that after upgrading to the the more expensive venue I found out that they drop the bluetooth option. This was a great feature on the Passport Event and does not exist on the venue. In addition the Venue doesn't seem to work well with all brands of wireless mics. It is still a great system and I would recommend it, but I would recommend the Passport Event first.

No, no, no. Just no!

I'm in a well known Jazz trio. I've had this for over a year & we take really good care of our musical equipment. In that time the clasps have broken, and now only two channels work. The reverb is also broken now too but it was fun while it all lasted. The speakers sound super thin and we haven't been impressed with this at all. I recommend either the Yamaha Stage Pass 600 or the Samson Expedition XP 1000. We've tried both and they're great. I haven't tried this one yet but surprisingly I've heard some great things about the Behringer Europort PPA2000BT & you can get this for two hundy less! That and the fact that it's got over a thousand watts of more power it's gotta be a win! ;)
