Create metal mayhem with this tricked out guitar

The Washburn Parallaxe PXMTR20 was designed with serious guitarists in mind. From the comfortable body to the thin neck and jumbo frets, this axe was made to rock. You'll never lack tone with the Seymour Duncan JB pickup in the bridge and a Seymour Duncan '59 humbucker in the neck. These pickups deliver everything from clean to scream. A fixed bridge gives you tuning stability even when you're bending and drop-tuning your strings. And the Buzz Feiten Tuning System lets you play more in tune than you thought possible. The sleek and good-looking Washburn Parallaxe PXMTR20 Trevor Rabin signature guitar is ready to take the stage and blow away the crowd.

Better intonation with the Buzz Feiten Tuning System

Hey, the Western tuning formula isn't perfect - that's why Washburn equipped the Parallaxe PXMTR20 with the Buzz Feiten Tuning System. This compensated nut and saddle system corrects the inherent intonation problems any musician faces when using Western tuning. The result? More precise, stable tuning across every single note on your fretboard. Fans of the Buzz Feiten Tuning System include Eddie Van Halen, Steve Vai, Joe Satriani, and Andy Summers, and Sweetwater's sure you'll love it too.

Exceeded Expectations

I have seen some other reviews on other sites about this guitar that just don't fit my experience and so I felt compelled to do this review. I found absolutely nothing wrong with this guitar. The neck, frets, hardware, pickups and workmanship were perfect in every way. A few very minor intonation adjustments and truss rod adjustment after installing Heavy Core strings and this is a rock solid jamming machine. Perfect feel and balance. A fantastic value! I own some beautiful high end guitars and this one looks, feels and sounds as good as it gets! My suggestion is that if these guitar specs fit your needs, then do no hesitate to buy one of these beasts!

Outstanding Instrument

Started looking for the best electric guitar around 500 dollars. When I saw the specs on this thing, I decided to give it a try. The quality surpassed anything I could have hoped for. The neck feels great and has low action without any fret buzz. I pick on the harder side, so this is often an annoyance. The real surprise is how nice the bridge pickup sounds. Usually not a fan of the weaker sounding bridge pickup, but this set up to my ears sounds better than my Epiphone Les Paul Tribute Plus with the Gibson 57 pickups or my Gibson SG with the Dimarzio 36 Anniversary Pickups. I am guessing if this was made in the States it would be twice the money. Washburn Guitars has never been on my radar, but I can honestly say if the quality continues to be this good, I am a fan for life. Not returning this one. I would only recommend more color options and maybe take off the signature name on the truss rod cover. Probably the best guitar out there for the money nobody knows about. I didn't. If you want a professional feel and sound, this might be it. Five Stars for Tone and Feel.
