Hosa PXF105 - 5'

Over the past years I have purchased several of their cables and have had no problems with them. I have had the pleasure of purchasing items since 2009. And I will purchase again if needed. And as always, quick shipping and service and follow up calls from Zack Neels and the Sweetwater crew.
Music background: Playing in bands since 1964, Bass, Guitar, vocals, and recording bands.

Practice Amp

Works great for me with my harmonicas. I use it with a dynamic instrument microphone and a 3-watt battery-operated practice amp designed for guitars.

Did not work at all

I don't usually like to write a bad review for something, but when I got this cable, I was very disappointed. The first time I plugged it in, I got no sound out of the mic (which I know works). So, I tested my mic with a normal (male-female) xlr cable and it worked flawlessly. When I tried to use just the xlr adapter above, no sound whatsoever. I worked with the cables and the mic for over an hour to try and fix it, but all I could find out is that the cable I ordered did not work.
