This amazing little beast has blown me away. Replacing two Boss 6 channel keyboard mixers (one with no phantom power, one with no headphone out), the PV8 has it all.....and much more, only thing missing is any hiss, pop, or static. Sits on shelf two of my keyboard stand next to my Griffin iPad connector receiving one stereo feed from my multitrack recording studio software and one from my 88-key Kurzweil (4 channels total). Also receives one XLR input from my condenser mike and one input from my guitar system output (2 channels). While this is all I need for a complete solo multitrack recording system, I still have three switchable stereo feeds available, so I input one stereo feed from my HDTV and one stereo feed from my Blu-Ray DVD player. This gives me a complete home theater AND multitrack recording studio on one wall of MY BEDROOM! The stereo output of my PV8 is sent to a small set of M-Audio powered Monitors and thus I have a wall of sound, theater, and studio recording which I can thoroughly enjoy ant time, day or night....even from the comfort of my bed. One caveat.....ground loop hums from both the HDTV and the Blu-Ray player were problematic......but completely eliminated with the addition of two cheap stereo ground loop reducers to the audio output of those two devices. Amazing multitrack studio quality recording and playback, and full home Theater system all controlled by the PV8 which cost less than $170...and I am still left with one switchable stereo input, effects in/outs, monitor outs, headphone out (with volume control), and a USB output....all still available for use. This little guy rocks out!!!
