Yes, paying $80 extra may seem like a lot for a hard case, but the quality is really top-notch. The pedal board with pedals attached seats nicely inside yet doesn't move around when shut thanks to the expertly designed padding. If you want to get that extra protection for your gear, this is a great way to go. The pedal board is also rock solid with plenty of tape to get your pedals situated.
