And you don't have to worry about temperature and humidity changes, a Remo FiberSkyn 3 synthetic head gives the Travel Conga a full and expressive tone, no matter the conditions.

Good instrument

As an avid conga player who travels regularly, I decided on this to take along, mostly to practice my rudiments while on the road. It is a high quality instrument. I am not a big fan of synthetic heads but this has a pretty good feel. I've heard some musicians use this as their primary instrument but in my opinion, this travel conga certainly won't replace a full size instrument. It is a bit ringy and there is little bass. But overall, it is a high quality instrument and I am very satisfied. Also, Sweetwater was superb, fast service, good follow-up, and personal service. Thanks Sweetwater.
