Sleek,Sporty,Sexy with Tone For Days!

By Robert Brown from Middle River, Maryland USA on October 16, 2013 Music Background: Bedroom Rockstar

First I want to thank Kenny at Sweetwater for the great service!
Now on to the Guitar. This is one Gorgeous Guitar, the neck on this
guitar is a work of art, the Ebony fret board is dark and rich looking
add the Abalone inlays and your talking Gorgeous. The action on the
neck was low and played with no fret rattle.
The Black paint is supreme, High Gloss Ebony Sexiness and the Chrome hardware just adds to the sporty appearance.
Plugged in to my Fender Vibro Champ XD with a Weber Signature Speaker and Electro Harmonix tubes this Guitar Sounded so rich with
mid range bite and snarl, the neck pickup is not muddy and sounds great by itself, when mixed with the bridge you get so many tones with the volume and tone controls you will not be disappointed.
I was blown away by how this sounded! And it comes with a super gig bag, when you purchase this type of body shape it great that Washburn
and Paul Stanley added a great gig bag for this guitar.
One other thing is the weight of the guitar, it is not a heavy body and feels very comfortable sitting or standing.
I have one issue with this guitar and it is with the pick guard, I was removing the pick guard to remove the 3 way switch nut to get to the plastic film. When I was removing the screws I heard a slight cracking sound, After I removed the pick guard I notice that the mirror paint has stuck to the body of the guitar, When I examine the pick guard around the screw holes the mirror paint pulled from the pick guard, now the pick guard looks defective around the holes.
Regardless this is one sweet looking and sounding guitar that will be in my collection for a long time.

THIS GUITAR ROCKS!!!!

By Sweetwater Customer from Fort Worth , Texas on August 14, 2013

The build quality of this guitar is second to none. The finish is flawless and beautiful. It sounds awesome for blues and hard rock. Not a metal guitar but with mini hums I'm sure you don't expect it to be. All hardware is top notch and electronics are as well. Couldn't be happier!
