Silence Is Golden

I recently added acoustic guitar to the line-up when conducting praise and worship programs with JC & Company. I wanted a right angle guitar cable with some type of silent switch build into it. I did not want to have to turn the volume level down and back up on the powered mixer when plugging up the acoustic guitar. My other option would have been the loud popping noise associated with plugging into the acoustic guitar end with a right angle cable. This right angle silent switch works great! I complete my setup, leave the right angle plug in a convenient location, pick up the guitar, and plug the cable into it. There is absolute silence! This cable is very flexible and picks up no audible interference. In fact, I like it so well that I purchased another one just like it to use when rehearsing in the studio! My very knowledgeable and professional Sweetwater Rep, Mr. Mark Bruhn, recommended this cable. Sometimes, "silence is golden!"

Awesome Cable!

Cable is quiet, quality is top notch, and the silent feature is a super!. There is a sonic difference in sound but it's subtle. I only notice the difference with instrument and patch cables. I've never noticed a sonic improvement with mic cables but quality and lifetime warranty is important to me. Cheap cables are always an issue so I will pay a little more for qualty. Sweetwater is the best, hands down! :-)

Best cable

I love the flexability of PRS cables. Not stiff like other cables. Very high quality.

Excellent super silence, great connectors.

expensive by the inch.

You get what you pay for. Eric Johnson might even give this a good rating. I've always read that you should alway play with a good cable. When I was younger I couldn't afford one. I've never paid this much for a cable, but it is really worth it. It really produces a clear sound, and I don't need to turn the volume up to get the amps features to sing true (Fender Hot Rod Deluxe).I've seen some negative reviews on the amp, but I think it's the cable. So far I've played a PRS and a 50th anniversary Strat through it. Rated it down for the price but I'd buy it again. I like the one 90 degree connection which I like to plug into the amp with. Look at the pictures on the Fender Deluxe Twin and the magazines and you can see why it's so versatile.
