PRS Leather Bird Strap - Black Reviews

I have 6 guitars, 3 of which are PRS', and each of them have an iteration of this strap; two black and one tan. They are sufficiently comfortable and very classy. I've never had any problems with them. I always use strap locks, though as it would be disastrous if a core PRS were to fall and get damaged! Sure, there are other straps that are padded and some filled with air that may be a bit more comfortable, but these are sufficiently wide enough to do the job. Being adjustable, the length is fine.

I usually buy Levi's leather straps for most of my guitars because I think they're the best, but the quality of this PRS strap is right here with them. I only buy PRS straps for my PRS guitars, because of the birds. This strap looks great, is well made, and the leather is soft and comfortable. And the price is right for a leather strap of this quality.

I studied and considered several straps to use with my PRS S2 McCarty 594 Slimline, but decided on the PRS strap which proved to be a great combination of high quality, well-crafted leather and a reasonable price. I really like these straps. They are really soft and easy to get on the PRS strap buttons. Just wide enough to distribute the guitars weight on my shoulder comfortably.

What can I say? It’s a leather guitar strap. It is black. It seems like good quality, soft leather. It has the PRS birds embossed on it (not that anyone can see them from more than 5 feet away!). It holds up my beautiful PRS wood library 594 just fine. (I use Schaller S type strap locks as well). It’s not padded, but that doesn’t bother me. Length can be adjusted from very short to really long. But I’m not a very tall person so almost any strap works for me. I have no doubt this strap will work fine even for really tall folks......unless you like your guitar hanging at your knees. ;

Has great quality and works well for me. I've used numerous straps over the years but tend to gravitate toward the leather. I'm a PRS fan so I like the birds embossed on the strap. Can't go wrong with this one in my opinion!

There are 100's of straps to choose from, but you may as well get one that matches your PRS. This strap is very supple and soft and very comfortable. I got it for my acoustic, now looking at getting another one for my electric.

Another 5 stars for a great PRS product. Leather is nice, soft and extremely comfortable. Price wise, it's better than any strap I've used at the same value. Length is perfect for my uses. Overall a great product that id definitely recommend!

I really like this strap. It's made of soft leather and is very comfortable to wear. The strap looks great and I like how the birds on the strap match the inlays on my PRS Se Santana. Kenny Stratton my sales agent was great to deal with and the strap arrived within a few days of ordering it. I will be buying stuff at Sweetwater again.

This is a great guitar strap. Great quality and very comfortable. The leather is soft and supple. Put a set of strap locks on it and you won't be disappointed! And of course the birds on it look great with my PRS S2 Starla!

Just as gorgeous as their guitars the leather is top quality the feel was great and the birds were the icing on the cake. It looks amazing on my Tremonti signature like they were made for each other. If you want a strap that looks as good as your axe bye this strap. Highly Recommend!

This strap is worthy of PRS guitars reputation. Price was very low for a beautifully made real leather strap. Very pleased with the quality, color and craftsmanship of this strap. I would have never believed it possible to get a strap like this for less than $50.

Just bought a new PRS Custom 24 and wanted a strap to match. This is a really nice strap. Quality leather, very light, and I like the birds. Nice range of adjustment. I like to keep my guitar high, so this strap accommodates very well. The guitar feels very secure. Not using it with a strap lock.

Fits the Acoustic Guitars I own, this will last a long time, my only small critique is that I had to open the starp holes a bit to get over stap points on fron and back

Nice strap that fits my Vela. Since the Vela is light I do not require a extra wide strap. The strap also is great since I am 5'3" tall and many straps are made for much taller folks. All in all a well made strap that holds my Vela securely. No complaints.

The edges could be finished a little better, but for the money this was better than expected. It is very comfortable and a really nice looking strap. Very happy with my purchase.

The PRS Leather Bird Strap is subtly attractive - looks exactly like the item depicted on the Sweetwater site. It is comfortable, functional, and should last a long time under reasonable use. Honestly it isn't as high-quality as I expected for the price, but it does have those PRS-style birds on it. I have other leather straps that are better quality and cost less than this one. It does add a nice touch to my PRS guitar and MT-15 amp setup though. Alas, if only it improved my playing ability...

Your staff is really fantastic...and the strap was exactly what I expected.

The strap is attractive. The birds are a nice touch. But, the construction is pretty cheap. It seems to be paper-thin strips of leather over a composite leather or synthetic material. I have straps made from solid leather that last years and age well. I do not expect that from this strap. The inside is a little slippery. If you have a guitar that is subject to neck dive there will be no friction to keep it in place.

I purchased the PRS Leather (suede) Guitar Strap with the confidence I have in the quality of products in the Sweetwater catalog. As a PRS owner of two very fine guitars, the PRS SE Zach Myers Signature Guitar in Trampas Green and the PRS SE 245 Black P-90 pickup guitar both have provided an abundance of quality, playability, and topnotch components and design. The Black suede strap has too many adjustment slots, when the length is properly adjusted the slots cause the strap to bunch up into an uncomfortable mess. I have a 100% cotton strap from Levy's on my Zach Myers that's ultra comfortable, I wish I had followed my instincts and purchased it instead. I realize that PRS only puts their name on this strap, but everyone needs to take a long hard look at what you're selling i.e. a bit of quality control.
