Huge Tone Plus Low-noise Electronics

The Jackson Pro Series Monarkh SC solidbody electric guitar balances aggressive tone and eminent playability for modern guitarists. The playability is fast and smooth thanks to the Speed Neck profile and the compound-radius ebony fretboard. The tone is tenacious and wide ranging, delivered by a pair of low-noise Seymour Duncan Blackouts humbucking pickups with active electronics. And guitarists at Sweetwater especially dig the set-neck construction, which helps enhance sustain and note definition. Whether you're after an agile instrument for melodic playing or a high-output guitar for grinding rhythms, you'll be impressed with the Jackson Pro Series Monarkh SC.

Jackson Pro Series Monarkh SC Solidbody Electric Guitar at a Glance:
  • Active humbucking pickups for aggressive tone
  • Plays fast across the entire fretboard
  • Sturdy neck that's built to last
Active humbucking pickups for aggressive tone

The Jackson Pro Series Monarkh SC guitar is ready to turn practically any amplifier into an aggressive metal machine, thanks to a pair of high-output Seymour Duncan Blackouts humbucking pickups. These pickups also have a very low-noise design, which means you won't be trying to hide unwanted hums and buzzes between notes and chords.

Plays fast across the entire fretboard

As your playing speeds up, the Jackson Pro Series Monarkh SC won't get in your way. The compound-radius fretboard is rounder near the nut for easier chords, and it flattens out as you move up the neck for faster melodic playing. And you'll find it's comfortable to play up to the highest frets, thanks to the contour cut heel which helps you transition to the highest registers on the fretboard.

Sturdy neck that's built to last

Your guitar's neck takes a lot of abuse, between your playing and the constant string tension. The Jackson Pro Series Monarkh SC boasts a graphite-reinforced maple neck, designed to resist twisting and warping over the years.

Jackson Pro Series Monarkh SC Solidbody Electric Guitar Features:
  • Designed for aggressive tone and fast playability
  • Wide-ranging, high-output tone from 2 Seymour Duncan Blackouts active humbucking pickups
  • Rigid maple neck is reinforced with graphite for long-term reliability
  • Set-in neck construction enhances sustain and note definition
  • Compound-radius fretboard flattens out toward higher frets for faster playability
  • Perfect for modern metal, with enough sonic flexibility to play in any genre
The Jackson Pro Series Monarkh SC plays fast and sounds epic.

Very nice!

If you're looking for a thin bodied, single cut guitar with a fast neck this might fit the bill. The SD active pickups are nice and can be turned up for maximum punch or turned back for great traditional tones. All of the controls are responsive. The guitar balances well and is easy to play, even in the upper register (due to the cutaway). For a mass produced item, the finish on mine was nice - just a few very minor clear coat bumps around the headstock binding. The only thing that I would suggest changing is the locking tuner design. I bought a set of Schaller M6 3 x 3 locking tuners and they slipped right in!
