    Great for Worship Bands

I use this during worship services at my church, and it comes through loud and clear un-miked all the way to the back of the sanctuary. Terrific snare sound, boomy bass, and looks good, too. Very impressed.

    Great sound

This is my first cajon so I don't have anything else to compare it it tone-wise. I play guitar but wanted something to have when we get together with acoustics. This is everything I hoped it would be. It has a very good boomy bass like the name says. The snare sounds good to me. If you want something to use as a drum when guys are just sitting around with acoustics, this is what you need.

    Pearl Boom Box Cajon

This is one awesome Cajon. Excellent low end response and the snare sound is over-the-top. This box has the closest sound to full drum kit that I've heard. I can't wait for the add-on toys to arrive in January. The extra cymbals and additional add-on's will finish the package. I have used this box in a live concert and received a lot of good feedback on it's sound. I would highly recommend. You won't be disappointed.

    Great sound

Great sounding cajun! Great design with snares up top. Rear port produces great sounding lows from middle of box and gives multiple mic options.

    My first...

Wasn't quite sure what to expect, seeing as this was my first cajon. I've watched video upon video of different cajon demos and couldn't find one on this particular cajon. I'm a guitarist and not a real percussionist, but I can tell you that this thing sounds pretty amazing and the low end really kicks. There is no adjustment to the snare (which would be nice) but it does look nice as a piece of furniture when its not being played. Sidenote: my kids totally love it.

    Lots of fun!

I play guitar in an acoustic band and I added this cajon so I could help create more percussion during some of our songs. This thing sounds amazing as a bass drum, especially when mic'd through your PA. The snare section near the top edge is pretty good, but if you're buying a cajon to play as a hand drum there are nicer models out there made of fine woods with adjustable snares. I added a cable driven kick pedal to this, made by Chromacast, a smaller company from California. It's a much nicer pedal for the money than the Gibraltar pedal sold here.

    Nice Cajon

This is my first Cajon, therefore, I can't compare it to others. Sounds great live. I didn't even mic it, and it came across loud and clear. Beautiful to look at and very strong. Happy with it so far.
