Outstanding bass!

I read a lot of great reviews about Squier's vintage modified series and this bass does not disappoint! The quality control from the factory is top notch. The neck is soooo nice...I wasn't sure how much I would love the gloss finish but it's amazing. Very smooth and fast. There aren't any sharp frets and they are level. The finish on the body is flawless. Candy Apple Red looks even better in person than online. The electronics are strong and smooth. Pups sound great...loud and clear. The p pup sounds fat and full just like it should. The j pup has great honk to it. But the real magic is both pups full volume together! What an incredible sound!! It has that traditional p bass tone with a little edge to it. If you want growl you can get it readily...If you want warm and creamy you can get that easily...If you want woody you can get that easily! Can't say enough positive things about this bass. For this price it's a steal!!!!! Feels, play and sounds like a bas twice it's cost. Go buy one!

Great Beginner Bass

I was looking for an affordable beginner to intermediate bass that was also of good quality. I read reviews on many basses in my price range and finally settle on this one that had reviews favorably comparing it to basses costing nearly twice as much. I've had it for several weeks now and am not disappointed. This bass plays well, sounds great and with both a P and J pickup, offers a wide tonal palette. All in all this is fine bass that I would both recommend and purchase again.
