    Best Bass Ever!

I have the 2012 version of this bass and all I can say is WOW! This is the best bass I have ever played. The action is nice, low, and the bass plays great. The bass is built like a tank and the neck stays nice, straight, and true no matter where I travel. It sounds great with any style of music. I have tried to love other basses (Ibanez SR and BTB series, Schecter, Music Man, Rics, and Peaveys), but I keep going back to the trusty Fender MIA P bass. No frills, no crazy active electronics, just plug, play, and sound amazing. Some people say it's overpriced for just one pickup and a simple setup, but to me it's worth every penny. I'm blown away! Get this bass if you want a nice clean simple bass that sounds wonderful with any genre of music.

    BEAUTY

Got this bass in November. Beautiful finish. The olympic white is creamy just the way I like it. The neck is super sweet, and the sound is unbelievable.
Fender is truly building premium basses again. Highly recommending this bass.

    Gold standard

As an owner of 2 Fender American Standard Jazz basses, I always admired the tone of the Precision, but never got one because of the larger neck. Well, my recent purchase proved me wrong. The Precision neck is only 1/8 wider at the nut. It'seems just as easy to navigate around the neck as my jazz basses. This bass will not disappoint.

    Great!

In my experience Fender quality has been hit or miss lately, but this one was a home run. Much much better than the American Series Jazz I had some years ago. Very impressed and highly recommend if the quality control has improved.

Exactly What I Was Looking For

Love this bass. Arrived set up perfectly, tuned it up, Mike/DI and levels dialed right in. Perfect. It's great to have real bass lines as opposed to midi. Definitely hear the difference immediately. Neck feels good, finish is flawless. I played other basses, and boy a couple were heavy, This is not. This is my bass.

    Great bass with great tone!

Fender is getting a clue. This is a very well made bass guitar and the custom shop pickups remind me of my Lakland P style bass with Lindy Fralins. The build quality is very good but not as good as my Sadowsky Metro R5-24, which is nearly flawless.

I was able to dial in a super set-up mostly because I did NOT have to file down the nut - it was perfect! Truss rod was good too, and I just had to lower the bridge saddles to my liking, crank that pickup lower under the E sting, and voila! Perfect bass!

The Olympic White finish is slightly creamy, which I just love, and the gloss finish on the maple fretboard is very cool!

I applaud Fender for this one. Well done!
