Solved My Bass Guitar Noise Problems

My bass was noisy, too noisy, played through Sweetwater-purchased Mackie mixer and Shure SE215 IEMs (can't wake up the landlord at 9:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. practicing through an amp). Now, to be honest, I'm somewhat tidiness-challenged and my prior instrument cable was sitting down on top of a "rats-nets" of 120VAC cords, one to the mixer, one to the heating pad which is regularly behind my back, one to my Sweetwater-purchased Manhasset-music stand light, etc. But, having tidied up the cords before--which had had no appreciable affect on the noise of my Sweetwter-purchased Squier Vintage Modified Jaguar Short-Scale bass--I was about to give up and tear into the bass' innards to see where all the noise was coming from. But, I simply purchased one of these excellent Monster Performer 600 instrument cables instead, plugged it into the bass and into the mixer, dropped it down among all the power cords, and there was/is no more noise. :D No serious musician playing an amplified instrument should be without one or more of these instrument cables. There is, however, one caveat: these are heavy cables, about 7mm thick (1/4", approx'). But, the cables and connectors are excellent. I see several more in my future. "Monster Performer" is a very apt description of how well this cable works! It simply--monstrously--out performs any other instrument cable I've ever had, including those shipped by some well known guitar makers with their products :D

monster 6'0 foot performer instrument cable.

These monster performer cables are absolutely fantastic! I bought 2 of them for my Yamaha MG06 mixer to plug into my space station V3. I also have monster cables for my keyboards, and as a professional keyboardest/concert organist, I have to rely for my equipment to perform flawlessly, and these, and all of my monster cables have not once let me down. Now! yes, they are a little more expensive, but you know that old saying? You get what you pay for, and trust me everybody, you can't go wrong with these, and monster as well. Also,Sweetwater? ? y'all are the best! Mr. Chuck Surack and his staff of sales engineers are second to none, and mine is, Mr. Joe Copenhaver. Keep up the good work, I _love working with all of you both for sales, and the technical department. I'm a blind guy, so when i couldn't quite find something in the users guide, or when it said "see illustration below" Now wait! that ain't gonna happen! but I can always depend on sweetwater tech department to guide me. Again, thank you all so so much.

Heavy Duty

These are the real deal. Quality cables cost money...a lot of money, but they're worth it. Should last many years.
