Fantastic!

I've used many different units throughout the years for monitoring... the PSM 300s are by far the best value for the money... very clean... I've had no problems with frequencies or dropouts..

Great transmitter - Easy to Use

Background - I am acoustic singer/songwriter and use a vintage suitcase drum kit behind me (think Shakey Graves setup). My PA (Turbosound iP2000) sounds great and has a 120 Degree horizontal dispersion pattern, eliminating the need for monitors. However, some venues have a lot of ambient noise based on the acoustics of the room. I wanted to improve what I hear when performing. I ventured into the IEM's with a personal headphone amp (Presonus HP2) tied into my in ear monitors (Westone AM Pro 20) and performed on some gigs. Great setup and clarity, except the best place for the headphone amp was in front of me and with my drum kit behind me, the cord to my IEMs would tangle with the drum pedals. Time to cut the cord (I had just cut the cord on my acoustic with the Shure GLSD14 wireless - best decision ever).

I use the Shure P3T wireless transmitter coupled to a P3RA body pack receiver (you can buy the set P3TRA215CL with Shure SE215 IEMs, but I already had the Westone AM Pro 20's). I run my guitar and vocals through a Boss VE-8 Acoustic Singer stomp box and route direct into one channel on the iP2000. I use one direct out mix (Mono) from the iP2000 into the P3T transmitter. I set the P3T transmitter on my iP2000 sub (along with the GLSD14 receiver). I put in the P3RA receiver on my belt behind me and plug in my IEMs. I turn on all my equipment at the gig, blue tooth, guitar wireless, etc. and then turn on the P3RA body pack receiver and scan for open channels. Once the best channel is found, I turn on the P3T transmitter and use the IR link to send the channel selection from the receiver to the P3T. My guitar wireless automatically does the channel scan and link (not sure why this doesn't have the same set up).

No issues with the P3T transmitter and P3RA body pack receiver. Easy to use and setup. The sound and clarity is very good. Not quite as good as the direct wired, but very close. This set up gets the job done. No cords, is a huge advantage. I have standardized on Shure products and I am very happy. Highly recommended.

Wireless Monitor Transmitter

Very nice piece of equipment. Sturdy, professional, quality transmitter. Pretty much plug & play. Took less than 2 minutes to set up and sync with the receiver. nice options for stereo or mono. Have been thinking of going wireless for about a year now. Wish I had purchased this sooner. A very economical but high quality professional manner in which to monitor. No more feedback, no more heavy and hard to position wedge monitors. I can actually hear my vocals now. This system will actually improve my performance.
