Solid Mix and Master Collection
I cannot think of a more underrated plugin collection. Each plugin works in just about every application I use them in. They are not too heavy on system resources and produce pleasing results. The Dynamics plugin itself contains so many useful features it gets used all the time. It can gate and expand at the same time, has both a compressor with knee control and limiter as well as a harmonics control for adding "warmth." The EQ is five bands with four different curve settings as well low and high-pass filters. Very useful. The SuprEsser can handle both high frequencies or low frequencies and there are three version of the SuprEsser included. The Limiter is just gold.
The only real downsides I can think of is the lack of input gain on the Dynamics, which would really help on quieter tracks. And the Dynamics sections are in a fixed order. You can't place the gate after the compressor, for example. The interfaces are non-resizable (a struggle on Mac Retina displays) and there is no immediate way to simply copy settings from plugin to plugin. But these are minor quibbles.
Rarely have I tried out an expensive collection like this and liked it enough to purchase, but this collection is one such instance.
Must Have Plug-ins for Any Studio
Been wanting to purchase these plug-ins for a long time and I finally took the leap. It's the subtle things that count and add up to make your songs sound smooth and well mixed. The SuprEsser is amazing in doing just that.. subtle frequencies that are poking out of your mix are easily and quickly ducked down and what a huge effect that has on a song as a whole. The inflator and limiter are amazing together. Still working with them both but simply putting the limiter plug-in on my master has an effect. I'd recommend this bundle collection to everyone
