    Omcpa4

I bought my OMC from a musician near Nashville. It had a slight buzz so I took it to a guy I know in the music business. He had it a couple days then called me to come pick it up. WOW! Incredible improvement. He made a slight adjustment on the neck and put new strings on it. He said he had a customer who wanted to buy it. I said no way. Love this instrument. I strongly recommend this guitar.

Been playing guitar since I was 9. Had my own band for about 14 years. Played professionally for about 5 years. Also play piano, bass, mandolin, banjo, steel guitar, etc.

    Tuning My Guitar

When I reach for my guitar, I am not worried about tuning it before playing. It stays in tune indefinitely. But I do like the built in tuning feature, just in case. Am not a fan of the original strings and replaced them with lighter gauge. Such a pleasure to play. Very happy with the choice. A very good investment and would highly recommend it to other musicians.

    Pretty Awesome

This is a fantastic guitar. Nice improvement from my last guitar. Better electronics, better sound, better feel, and I'm glad I've been studying guitars for the time I've been studying them. This really gave me a huge boost of energy. I can't put it down, it's so beautiful. I want to get a OMCPA1 someday, because it is cosmetically, a very beautiful guitar. I'm having so much fun with it. It's super comfortable, and just awesome. I think I would want gloss back and sides, though, and some abalone binding and an abalone rosette too, but this is perfect for now.

This Guitar is Marv! (part 2)

I just wanted to add something to my last review. That is that if you are a person looking for a guitar that sounds fantastic, but is cosmetically simple and traditional, which you may have got from my metaphor with Katy Perry, then this is the guitar for you.

    This Guitar is Marv!

This guitar is the Katy Perry of guitars. She might not look the best, but she sounds pretty amazing. I like this guitar because it has a nice punchy tone, it's comfortable, it's looks are very simple, and the electronics are pretty nice. I like the pickup (Fishman Undersaddle Sonicore), but the preamp could be a bit better. It is a great preamp, but it doesn't have as much features as the F1 Aura+ or something. It's a bit limited, but for some people, it will suffice. It sounds amazing and it's super comfortable. Also, if you play a lot of dreadnought guitars, it might take a little to get used to this body, because the neck is just a bit wider, but the body is thinner, so that's what makes it so comfortable. Have fun!

    Simple, playable, great backup guitar

When I moved to Nashville, this was the first guitar I ever got. In the year and a half that I've had it, I've probably played over a hundred gigs with it, and it's been extremely good to me.

It's simple all around, in a good way. Simple inlays, simple electronics, simple aesthetics. It's one of those easy plug in, adjust volume, and play kind of guitars. No need to screw around with an EQ for a half hour trying to get it to sound right. I now use it as a backup guitar. I often grab it for writing sessions, jamming around the couch, and I always bring it to gigs just in case.

Only problem I've ever had with it was that the quarter inch input fell into the guitar body at a gig once and I barely managed to fix it in time. That wasn't built exactly how I think I'd have done it, but I just need to check the screws every once in awhile to make sure they stay tight.

    Overall, great guitar.
