OMC-35E - Never played a finer guitar

I just went through a trading-up process and stopped at the OMC-35E. From the first time I played it last month, I knew that this was the standard by which I would judge all other acoustic guitars, but I wasn't ready for the price tag. I bought a Taylor, traded it in for another Taylor, and was about to get a Gibson, but I just decided to stop the madness and buy the OMC-35E. It plays so smoothly. LOVE that neck. The sound is tight and crystal clear. The design and finish is impeccable, and I'm finally at the point where I can detect small blemishes in high-end guitars. This thing has none. It's a guitar for life. I cannot imagine finding something better. Of course I hope to buy more acoustic guitars in the future... like a Gibson J45... but there is nothing lacking in my fleet right now.I will use this guitar professionally at live events, but I will think twice about the venues where I use it. It ain't for dive bars. Not at this price. It's so comfortable to play (OMC, smaller body), and the pick-up system is very strong. Just right for me. I don't really dig Taylor's ES2, and the Fishman F1 Aura Plus is fine, but no real improvement over the last F1 system. This Aura VT system allows me to quickly dial in the parameters, and that is a sweet situation for me onstage.Whoever worked on this guitar's design and assembly and finish put their heart into it. That 3-piece rosewood back is done beautifully. The frets, neck, and fingerboard are just smooth. I keeping using that word, but that's how it feels to me. There is very little work required to play this instrument... up and down the fretboard. I have other guitars that I love, but they all require some extra care and/or effort at various fretboard locations. The OMC-35E is just ready to deliver. Can you tell that I love this guitar?Try it. Get it. Experience it. I would recommend this guitar over every other acoustic guitar that I have ever played.
