Does the job

I am using this to turn optical SPDIF from my television (Ps5 audio reference for game sound) into AES to feed my Dangerous Music D-BOX+. Works like a charm.

Does what's on the tin

This is a perfect pairing with a Dante AVIO AES converter for a cost-effective conversion from consumer digital all the way to Dante for connecting, specifically, a CD player to the Dante network with no audio fidelity loss.

Hosa converter

It works as promised. Converts AES to optical. I don't know what to add beyond that.

Excellent Device for converting to TOSLink input

Easily and accurately converted my 24 bit 96Khz AES\EBU output on my Line6 Helix to TOSLink fiber optic input on back of my Motu Ultralite AVB recording interface. Recorded Helix at 24 bit 96K with no pops or issues.
