One Control 1 Loop Box Loop Switcher Reviews

Minimal Series Passive Switchable Effects Loop Pedal

The One Control 1 Loop Box is just about the most affordable way to add a switchable effects loop to your pedalboard. This simple device uses totally passive switching (9V power is just for the LED indicator), allowing you to send signal to an independent effects loop anywhere in your signal path. The guitar geeks at Sweetwater also like to use the 1 Loop Box to add true-bypass switching to vintage pedals with fixed buffers, and if you don't connect anything to the loop output, you can use this One Control pedal as a compact A/B switcher.

Very nice!

Heavy built! Probably gonna last forever. Using it to isolate a very noisy pedal from my signal chain. Works great.

Send and return in the board

By Michael from Atlanta on November 8, 2020 Music Background: 35 years guitar player abs engineer

This thing is great it out there send and return in your board. It shortens and lessens your cables and shows you more customization. Definitely recommend as it also adds the send/Return to amps that don't feature it. Also allows me to bunch my lead channel effects including boost with no danger of damaging a preamp.

works as expected!

It is a very versatile tool. And it works just as it is described. I am using it to switch out my multi pedal; so I can go from direct to the amp and to add in my pedal.

Nice pedal

I bought this pedal because I often like to turn on 2-3 pedals for solos-boost, flange, delay. This pedal allows me to turn on/off these pedals simultaneously, eliminating a lot of tap dancing. This small pedal takes up very little space on my pedal board.

1 loop in a tiny box

By Sweetwater Customer from NYC on August 23, 2016

I have a Boss Line Selector. It's great and does so much.
But I was in the market for a much smaller simpler version for a smaller project board I have. When I came across the One Control 1 Loop Box, I was a bit skeptical. But I figured I'd give it a try. Can't beat this price. When I got it and tried it out, I was blown away. Exactly what I needed in it's function/size.
I highly recommend it!

Excellent! Perfect to add a loop to your pedal board

By Sweetwater Customer on December 4, 2015

I use it to add a loop to my pedal board. Wanted a quick way to turn on two effects at the same time. WORKS GREAT! Rugged, worth every penny. I use it all the time and never have any problems with it. Buy it!!!

1 loop small

By Scott Sinner from Washington, d.c. on October 31, 2015 Music Background: I have a day job, but a dozen albums of originals, and more shows than i can remember

Does what it is supposed to, no coloration as you'd expect. Feels solid, slight audible click sound, but thats normal.

3 in 1

I bought originally to loop in some effects to my mixer. I later started using it as a mute switch to the overdrive loop on the EBS Billy Sheehan Signature Drive, so I have the option of turning just the overdrive channel off. It can also be used as an A/B switch. The instructions contain the three configurations possible to use. I also plug mine into the pedal power supply to light up the red diode when in use; although, power is not required, it"s a passive switch. The light just won"t work then.

Quality Simple A/B Selecter

By Sweetwater Customer on March 16, 2018 Music Background: T

This pedal is a very rugged and straightforward one to two or two to one switcher. The reason I am giving it a "meh" 2.5 rating is because I was hoping that it could combine both A and B as an option. For example, I have an old EHX pedal that can switch between A, B, or BOTH. The EHX is big and clunky, but it had the right idea, and it didn't require power either to work. This pedal can't do that. Well, that's okay, I can still use it but it is less versatile than I had hoped.
