Big Tone in a Lightweight Cab!

Looking for a lightweight bass cab? The Gallien-Krueger Neo 412 bass cabinet is ideal for both club dates and arena gigs. As a bass player, you've probably lugged amplifiers up stairways, wrestled gear into car trunks, and wondered why these things had to be so heavy, bulky, and hard to handle. This 4 x 12" bass cab is augmented with a high-frequency horn - all loaded inside a compact lightweight enclosure you stand a good chance of fitting in a car. G-K's Neo series is all about performance and portability. Grab a Gallien-Krueger Neo 412 bass cabinet and see how light a cab can be.

Gallien-Krueger Neo 412 Bass Cabinet at a Glance:

  • Neodymium speakers and horn construction
  • Ready for the rigors of the road
Definition, projection, and presence

GK has built the Neo 412 bass cab for maximum efficiency, with a quartet of 12" cast-frame neodymium woofers loaded in a compact lightweight enclosure. The Gallien-Krueger Neo 412's void-free cabinet is braced to reduce spurious vibrations and focus your bass sound with excellent definition, projection, and presence.

Neodymium speakers and horn construction

When it comes to bass cabs, G-K knows what they're doing (they've been at it for a while). They've fitted the Gallien-Krueger Neo 412 with four 12" Paragon cast-frame neodymium woofers and a secret weapon: their horn bi-amp system. Running either bi-amped or full-range, this great-sounding enclosure puts out a solid, tight low end and articulated mids and highs. And with a max SPL of 133dB, the Neo 412 has some serious venue-filling capabilities.

Ready for the rigors of the road

The build quality of the Neo 412 bass cabinet is G-K-tough. Custom interlocking corners and lightweight poplar construction keep the weight low and roadworthiness high. Neo series cabinets incorporate special bracing to eliminate standing waves while providing rock-solid structural support to reduce cabinet resonance - giving your sound definition, projection, and presence. The Gallien-Krueger Neo 412 bass cabinet is a smart choice for today's bass players.

Gallien-Krueger Neo 412 Bass Cabinet Features:
  • Extremely lightweight bass cab with big output
  • Neodymium speakers keep this cab's weight light
  • Will handle a continuous 1200-watt output all night long

Best Cab I've Ever Owned!!!

First off, for the price you will not find a better cabinet. I did some research on other comparable products (like the Mesa Boogie 412) before selecting this cab and decided on this awesome cab. I've used other GK cabs in the past like the 410 and 115 Neo but, this 412 is just the perfect fit for me. It takes anything you throw at it with ease. The range of frequencies it grabs is incredible. I can maintain tight, low end all the while having nice attack in the upper notes. Right now I have this cab paired with a GK 1001RB and in the bi-amped mode, which also sounds great. I got real tired of lugging my 410 and 115 stack around and this cab weighs a lot less and is much easier to maneuver with the "kick and roll" design. I have not needed to push my amp past 3-4 on the volume with the 412 cab either. Overall, if you need a wide spectrum cabinet that can handle a lot of power, this is the right pick for you. I like it so much I just ordered another one today!!
