Check Out NYXL Strings!

Hard on electric guitar strings? Sweetwater guitarists are excited about D'Addario NYXL strings because they sound great, bend farther, and stay in tune better - even after a couple of sweaty gigs - than just about anything else we've played. D'Addario uses a high carbon steel core with a unique "fusion twist" process for the plain strings. NYXL's reformulated nickel plated string windings have increased magnetic properties that give you higher output and juiced midrange for greater presence and crunch. If you're dissatisfied with your electric guitar strings, give D'Addario NYXL strings an audition. You'll be impressed.

D'Addario NYXL1046BT electric strings feature a balanced-tension design, providing you with more dynamic control and a more consistent feel between strings for evenly balanced bending, strumming, fretting, and picking.

D'Addario - Making strings for over 300 years

Behind every set of D'Addario strings are over three centuries of fine craftsmanship. The D'Addario family tradition began in the tiny town of Salle, Italy in 1680 where they made assorted instrument strings for over two hundred years before relocating to New York in 1905. As the modern string making industry began to develop, the D'Addario family emerged as innovators by designing the winding machine most string makers still use today. And while their techniques have modernized, the pride that goes into each set of strings dates back to the D'Addario family's earliest roots.

Awesome strings!!

I only use two string sets on my electric guitars - these and 9-46 version of the same strings. NYXLs are the best I have used barr none. I searched for a long time - testing every model I saw over several years time. These have the best feel - tone for me. They last a long time before needing changing too. All in all a great string.

My New Favorites!!!

I have tried a bunch of strings, over the years, and these have to be my favorites! They have a nice, rich, midrange tone! Highly recommend!!!

Favorite Strings

These are my favorite strings that I have ever tried. They sound terrific and last a long time. The only drawback is that they are EXPENSIVE. I have nine guitars and six of them are strung with these.

Great strings

I personally really love this strings, but can't honestly tell you why. They're pretty much like all the other strings I've played but they feel is smoother to me. They seem to tune to pitch faster and stay in tune longer, but they get dirty just as fast as the rest. I'm hooked on them though, so I'm gonna keep on using them.

Say Goodbye To Your Dynamics.

These strings are a bad joke. The bottom strings sounded and felt normal. The top three were ridiculously slinky, lacking in pick-response, sounded thin, and made my guitar feel like there was something wrong with it. Putting normal D'Addario XLs on it solved the problem.
