Better intonation with the Buzz Feiten Tuning System

Hey, the Western tuning formula isn't perfect - that's why Washburn and Nuno equipped the Nuno Bettencourt N4 Authentic with the Buzz Feiten Tuning System. This compensated nut and saddle system corrects the inherent intonation problems any musician faces when using Western tuning. The result? More precise, stable tuning across every single note on your fretboard. Fans of the Buzz Feiten Tuning System include Eddie Van Halen, Steve Vai, Joe Satriani, and Andy Summers, and we're sure you'll love it too.

Washburn's N series - designed with Nuno Bettencourt

And he did much more than put his name on them. Nuno added his extensive guitar knowledge to create exceptional instruments for aspiring players. Nuno's signature guitars boast an extremely fast-playing neck, with incredible access to the upper frets. Also sporting premium pickups and tonewoods, it's easy to see the huge value in Washburn's N series guitars.

I Love This Guitar

I only write reviews after I've played a guitar for a few months. I've now owned my N4 Authentic for a year and a half. It pays itself. It has the best feeling neck I've ever played. It has the most versatile sounding guitar I have. I could not be happier. My only gripe is that it does not stay in tune. I mean by 22 year old Ibanez RG550 Ltd Serpent still stays in tune, but this thing just will not stay in tune for more than a couple of songs at a time.

Maybe a got the one lemon

Amazing range of tones from this pup configuration, the neck is super fast. The only problem was that after playing it for 3 months it kept fretting out, after taking it to my luthier to make adjustments we discovered that one of the frets was loose and too high. I had to have it re-fretted and glued to fix it. Kind of a bummer for a $3000 guitar. Before I had issues with it though it was the best electric I've ever played. I have a collection over 12 different guitars so I have a good marker to compare it to.
