After three years, love the AvantGrand N3 more than ever!
I purchased a Yamaha AvantGrand N3 from Sweetwater in March of 2014. I have a small recording studio in my basement so have had many keyboards through the years but my wife wanted a Grand Piano for the living room! After several hours of playing acoustic pianos as well as the AvantGrand at Sweetwater, I determined that I preferred the AvantGrand over all of the Acoustic Pianos in the price range of $25K or less. It was not until I was in the $30K range that I preferred an Acoustic Piano.
After nearly three years, I still love my AvantGrand and play it every day! It has never needed tuning and the action is incredible. Most people can not believe there are no strings!! I have a auto arranger sound module that I connect via MIDI and audio output to the AvantGrand which gives me all kinds of options for entertaining. Although it probably does not have as good of a resale as an acoustic piano, the it has been a great investment for me.
