Smaller Size and Improved Performance

The Fulltone Custom Shop Mini DejaVibe CS-MDV-1 rotary speaker pedal packs legendary phase-y/chorus-y effects into a pedalboard-friendly enclosure that's 15% smaller than its predecessor's. Fulltone's custom-made dual photoresistor yields speeds that far exceed the range of most Univibe clones. Craft unique effects with the Mini DejaVibe's internal trimmer. Use virtually any expression pedal to control your effect's speed via an external pedal jack. With twice the volume of similar pedals, this pedal really cuts through a loud mix. At Sweetwater, we're impressed with how well the Mini DejaVibe takes fuzz pedals and overdriven amps. The Fulltone Custom Shop Mini DejaVibe CS-MDV-1 delivers the classic modulation that guitarists swear by.

Overhauled design for smaller size and improved performance

The Fulltone Custom Shop Mini DejaVibe is 15% smaller than its predecessor, and features top-mounted jacks, making it a perfect fit for almost any pedalboard. Achieve speeds much slower and much faster than most Univibe clones, by virtue of Fulltone's custom-made dual photoresistor. An internal trimmer fine tunes the Mini DejaVibe's symmetry, allowing you to create effects that are unique to you. Virtually any expression pedal can be plugged into the Mini DejaVibe's external pedal jack, for ramping up your effects speed with incredible linearity. A 100% correct vintage analog circuit with no op-amps ensures authentic Univibe sounds.

PCB-mounted pots for a lifetime of hard use

Fulltone's custom-made brass-shaft pots are among the strongest and smoothest feeling pots available. These amazing pots are mounted to the interior PCB via a proprietary thru-PCB method rather than having the pot be secured by the pot terminals, drastically reducing pot-related failure. This method keeps Fulltone pedals up and running for the duration of your playing days. Plus, this eliminates the need for a bunch of jumper wires, keeping your tone as pure as humanly possible.

Serious rockers trust their sound to Fulltone pedals

The list of Fulltone fans reads like a who's who of guitar heroes. Both Ron Wood and Keith Richards have Fulltone gear in their touring rigs, as does Nigel Tufnel from the legendary British metal band Spinal Tap, and Boston bad-boys Joe Perry and Tom Hamilton. Punk/rockabilly mainstay Reverend Horton Heat is a Fulltone convert. Other notable Fulltone users have included Pearl Jam's Stone Gossard, Jack Bruce of Cream, perennial alt rocker Lou Reed, and Tom Petty, along with Heartbreaker Mike Campbell.

Why buy Fulltone?

Fulltone was founded in 1991 by session guitarist, composer, performer, and electronic tinkerer Michael Fuller. His pedals were born out of love for music and tone, as well as the frustration at the inconsistencies and the often fragile nature of vintage pedals. Fulltone pedals are 100% handmade in Southern California using the finest components, including custom-made 22-gauge copper wire with no tin coating, Fulltone-designed 3PDT switches, and custom-made brass shaft pots, mounted using Fulltone's proprietary thru-PCB method. The end result: Fulltone pedals are built to last and sound amazing.

The best 'Vibe out there

We know that Fulltone doesn't pull punches on component selection or build quality, and yet somehow their ability to produce the perfect sounds seems magical sometimes. This is definitely one of those times. If you've been searching for a way to really get that Pink Floyd style lush 'Vibe sound without having to spend huge amounts on a clunky vintage original, this is the answer. It's affordable, fits in a very reasonable amount of pedalboard space, is easily powered, and man oh man does it sound good. I've had one of these for several years and I honestly keep forgetting how good it sounds. I'll be thinking, "having kicked on the 'Vibe in a bit, let's get a little of that in there" and suddenly I'm transported. Somehow this sounds present, even modern, without feeling disconnected from the original sound. Other 'Vibe pedals really sound brittle or just not quite right. The Fulltone Mini Deja not only sounds right, it sounds better. Like you're hearing the live version of what is not quite completely captured in the recording process. It's just lush! I know that word is overused but I'm not a lyricist, so I don't have the great words for it. Just know it's the one! Pick it up and end your 'Vibe quest.

Fulltone Custom Shop Deja Vibe/Ryan Schmidt

Wanted to take a moment to thank my sales engineer Ryan for product knowledge, excellent customer service and personal notification of equipment availability. This is my 4th variation of the Deja Vibe. I bought my first one after meeting Robin Trower and having a look at his board which had a Deja Vibe. With each successive model Mike Fuller makes slight improvements while retaining the sound of the classic. A major improvement was the prior model which added 18V headroom. This version offers wider control over the speed and the possibility of more volume boost. Both are great modifications while retaining the sound of the original.
