Voodoo Lab Micro Vibe

exactly as I expected,I really needed to slow down the speed[Trower stuff]..and I sold my 1995 re-issue [older version and the lamp burnt out]..to finance a new "MXR 68" uni-vibe,it arrived in 4 days, but the thing wouldn't do what I needed [a slow warble]...the gang at sweetwater, promptly shipped out a new micro-vibe...thanks jeff !!!

The Micro Vibe is a faithful reproduction of the Uni_Vibe

This review title says it all...If you want that Phase/Vibe Psychedelic Leslie thing this will get you there all the way AND true bypass switching....Cool! A one or two trick pony for sure (depending on your ear and tone expectations), but it it is a nice spice for the stew.

Faithful Recreation Of The Original

They use the same circuit as the original Uni-vibe. I compared it to an original Uni-vibe and it sounds very close to it, but much quieter. The Micro Vibe in front of your amp, after you're gain pedal recreates those famous lush sounds. It's well made and reasonably priced

Chewy Vibe Clone

I've tried several univibe clones now and this is my favorite so far. It is darker and thicker sounding than the Sweetsound Mojovibe and Fulltone clones. For this reason, it sounds better with overdrive than the others to my ears (less spiky). The build is solid, switching is quiet, and there is no volume loss when switching in the effect. The intensity control takes some experimenting with because it's not entirely intuitive, i.e. "less is more" in some cases. I gave it a 4 because it doesn't do everything (if you want a more scooped sound go with Mojovibe) but it's very nice if you like chewy mid range.
