custom mark v head
Just got it last week THANKS JASON YOU ROCK!!!!!!!!!!!!! sorry about that. Anyway, uh yeah the head was practically ready to go once i got my hands on it. Dialed in a few sounds & away i went. There is nothing about this head that i can say that hasn't already been said but WOW!!! a ton of options, which is what i was looking for. I told Jason at Sweetwater that this was going to be my backup amp because i have a mid 90's Mesa Tremoverb head that i currently use & that i love. However, it's a tough decision since i was looking for a different sound other than a rectifier amp & i wanted to stay with Mesa amps. I was looking for an amp with options & lots of headroom in the clean channel & high gain. I got it all & then some. The effects loop is wonderful & the effects in front of the amp run just fine too. Sometimes i catch myself just looking at it (LOL). Now this is my first Mark series head. Back in the 80's i wanted one but i'm glad i waited. In my opinion it did help to have a bit of knowledge on mesa amps as they are tweaking amps by nature. As far as sound goods if you need options with your sound from a ton of headroom in the clean channel to nice, tight high gain THIS is the amp for you. Okay i'm done other than to say that the Sweetwater folks are amazing.
