Mesa Boogie mark v 90watts best of the best

Excellent All Around Amp
I must say this is the best AMP I have had the opportunity to own and I have had quite a few. I was going to replace pickups in my Strat and after playing on the Mark V I can't believe how much better it sounds and I will not be changing the pickups. Compared to the Marshall, first the Clean Channel is definitely better, and even an improvement over my Fender Deluxe Reverb ReIssue. Channel 2 and Channel 3 are offer so many ways to tune you can easily find the tones your looking for. The Learning curve is not bad given the tremendous flexibility this amp offers. On the 10 watt setting I found it more than enough for home or studio use. The pedal board allows switch between channels, muting your external pedals, muting the amp and more. Unlike the Marshall, you can adjust the output/volume level for your pedals which for me was a huge win. This amp is rock solid and comes with quality caster wheels and much much more. I am keeping this one and if I could only own one amp, this is it.
Worth Every Penny
I bought this combo amplifier on a leap of faith. I did well. This amp is all about tone and it screams quality throughout. Everything I tried with this combo sounded great. No matter the power setting this product performed flawlessly. The most impressive feature in this amplifier is the EQ. It makes even a cranky old guy from New England sound respectable from time to time. I've been trying to play guitar for over 50 years and this is the best of the best of the best amplifiers I've ever insulted with my play. I love this combo and wish I had this beauty decades ago. Better late than never!
Mark V - Incredible Amp
I had a Mesa Boogie Mark III for years, so I'm no stranger to the quality of their amps. But this Mark V is just amazing. 3 channels and 9 modes provides you with as wide a range of tones as one could want. I already have my faves, but they're all great. The multi-function footswitch is an added benefit, with a cool Solo switch that provides an instant boost for leads. From crispy-clean to ultra-overdrive and everything in-between, this incredibly-flexible amp just sings, and with power to spare. Well worth the investment.
