Great sound for stage and studio

The Samson MixPad MXP124FX gives you the connectivity you need for most small-format mixing applications. Four mic preamps are ready for your microphones, with phantom power and a highpass filter for each input. And the first two channels have an easy one-knob compressor, perfect for vocals or drum overheads. A total of four stereo line inputs and four mono line inputs makes the MixPad MXP124FX a solid solution as a mixer for your keyboards or synthesizers.

High quality built-in effects for a polished sound

You can choose from 100 digital effects with 24-bit resolution on the MixPad MXP124FX. These studio-quality effects cover delay, reverb, tremolo, chorus, and more. Send as much or as little of each channel to the effects processor, then blend in the effects return with your main mix - easy!

Built-in USB for recording

Whether you're rehearsing with your band, mixing live sound, or creating broadcast material, the MixPad MXP124FX makes it easy to record your mix. Just connect the USB output to your computer, and record the stereo mix directly in your DAW. You can also use the USB connection to mix in a stereo signal from your DAW, making it easy to integrate computer audio with your live mix.

Great podcast mixer

I've had this mixer in use for two years now. I bought this mixer for podcasting and recording Skype interviews. I still like it a lot. It does (almost!) everything I need. Pros: 4 clean mic pre-amps Faders One knob compression (2 channels) FX/mon send (ability to do mix-minus setup) small enough to sit comfortably/permanently on my computer desk Cons: 16 bit AD converter on USB out (To be fair, all analog USB mixers except Yamaha appear to be 16 bit.) This can be remedied by recording from your mixer with a digital recorder or inputting your analog feed into your computer with an audio interface - both work great but require another piece of equipment. It's a great little mixer that I use daily. I haven't found a better combination of size/features for me. I'll probably buy a Yamaha if/when I need a replacement to get the 24 bit AD converters on the USB out. But to get faders (one of my personal requirements) on a Yamaha, I have to get a much bigger footprint mixer. Not what I want. So nothing is perfect. I'm quite happy with my purchase of this Samson MixPad. It's really tough to beat for the price.
