CommShield technology keeps your signal clean

The Shure Microflex MX150 employs CommShield technology that guards against interference from cellular RF devices and digital bodypack transmitters using GSM radio transmission (technology that's in your cell phone). GSM transmits voice and media data on a series of short, intense radio frequency pulses that can significant amount of interference into nearby audio electronics devices - such as microphones. CommShield is engineered to combat this, giving you clean signal, regardless of the strength and proximity of GSM pulses.

Just What We Needed

Working better than we expected for singing.

Great mike

I have had a lot of trouble with feedback previously, but this mike cured that totally. Thank you, Sweetwater.

Much better than WL50

If you've been using WL50's, or Countryman B3's, you'll Shurely want to try out the new MX150. The sound quality and consistency between microphones is very noticeably improved. Handling noise is practically nonexistent (with Omni only, cardioid is also improved), and the cable feels more durable.I have to point out that the cable seems more susceptible to collecting unwanted materials (hair spray, gel, makeup), as a couple of mine stiffened up with a strange texture after I was gone for a couple of shows. But I wasn't there so I don't know what happened... they may have even used a hair drier on the lavalier.I already preferred the high-end response of the WL50 over Countryman's B3, and with this update it is even smoother than before.
