    Great sounding speaker period.

I have worked with a lot of different speaker cabinets that have been a lot larger and more costly. These sound very good for the price.
I've paired these speakers with a Soundcraft EPM12 mixer.
These speakers have such clarity, it's amazing. I am in a gospel bluegrass band and recently had the chance to mike a stand-up bass with a Shure SM-57 mic, along with all of the rest our acoustic instruments. I thought that I was listening to a cabinet with a much larger speaker in it. The low end was incredible, the vocals and all of the instruments came through so clean, I thought there is no way these have a 10" speaker in them. They have plenty of power, besides being light enough for even the women in the group to carry, and you can't go wrong with the price, and you have Sweetwater to back them up.

    Great speakers

These speakers have been perfect for the smaller venues on this tour. They have clarity, presence and plenty of power. Nice and light to carry.

    Excellent Active Speaker

I own 3 of these. Love the dual inputs and EQ. My daughter uses one for her keyboard in her band. My band uses a pair for medium or small venues. Crisp sound. So far they are durable and reliable. Great as monitor or FOH.

    Yahama MSR250's Deliver !

I bought these for use in a worship setting for stage monitors, the flexibility of the angled back and pole mounting led me later to use them for back channel fill and even the teen talent show mains !

The sound is great for their size and weight, they didn't run hot even during the 95+ degree weather and being on their sides.

Great value for the price point, I would recommend these when evaluating speakers that are planned for multiple uses.

A big step up from the MSR100

I tried the MSR100 because I only needed it for a small, indoor space. I was thinking "why pay more for 250 watts". But this speaker blows away the MSR100, even at low levels. The MSR100 is of good quality, but is more geared toward portability or consumer electronics. The MSR250 is serious gear for pro audio, and just reeks high-end quality like most Yamaha products.
