Brian Rick is the man and a great price on my guitar

I'm still getting to know my new Takamine, It's totally different from my Fender which after 4 years has a nice mellow full sound. The Takamine has a bright sound when unplugged but plug it in and the 3 band EQ makes it whatever you want. My contact with Sweetwater is Brian. Great guy has all the answers, follows up with the sale.
Music background: Started playing the accordian when I was 6. Been a music nut ever since, Skill Level? My audience consists of my 3 year old grandaughter.

strings go flat

I've used mostly Martin strings on my acoustic guitars for the last 20 years. The set of MSP-3100's I put on last week stretched about 3 times as much as normal. They just kept going flat and I'd tighten them up again. Over and over. For new strings, they sound dull and lack high harmonics. I conclude that these strings were made with a softer type of steel than the many sets of Martin strings I have used before. I will be replacing these soon, hopefully with something better.
