    Great little amp!

Girls love it when I play outside in the park. Now I carry my Les Paul or my Tele. Don't need my acoustic. I've been practicing a lot of Prince lately. It takes his song " The question of U " to the next n level. Try it for your self. For fifty bucks, you can't beat it!

Oh, buy the way. I also use it with my electric Violin.

nice little novelty/practice/take with you amp

I have only run mine off the 9v battery, I have not plugged it into the wall yet except to make sure it powered up that way, I saw it did and put the battery back in and gave it a go,

its a nice little amp but its not all that loud, I have the volume up all the way and you can hear it pretty well but its still not what I would call being loud, I see someone said this amp was loud but I would say its pretty far from being loud. its just loud enough but I wish It could be a bit louder.

the overdrive channel sounds pretty good its got that Marshall overdrive tone, well sort of, about as close as you can get to it with a little solid state 1 watt amp with a little tiny speaker. I mainly use the overdrive channel and I am satisfied overall

the main issue I have with this amp is the clean channel, is not very clean unless you have the volume turned down really low and at that point you can barley hear the amp, once you start turning it get more and more distorted, so the clean channel is more like a gritty low gain overdrive channel. not sure how it sounds with headphones but that is how it sounds powered by a batter and using the built in speaker.

It will be nice amp to take places when I do need a loud amp or if I do not feel like dragging big amps around, it will be nice for playing quietly at home, and well if I ever want to play with headphones this should work out well.

    Marshall MS-2 simplicity

Moved backed in to the parent's house. My Roland 40xl and other burrowed amps are beautiful and powerful but my parents are really old and need some real peace and quiet. Headphones plugged into the amps doesn't work for me, the sound is different. For now, the Marshall MS-2 works great as a stand alone speaker live practice amp with less power and volume. Beware, the 1watt output of this thing can still be loud, you gotta tweak the volume control in small increments.
