    Actually pretty dmn good!

This little thing actually sounds pretty d*** good for what it is. Play it almost every other night when sitting in front of the TV etc. Took it on a business trip too-so much better than playing dry. Can highly recommend.

Neat little practice or on the go amp! Goes great with my new Les Paul Chicago Blue!

    Actually really decent

For the money, and what it's designed to be (A practice amp I guess) this thing is great! For it's size, it's actually loud, and the dirty channel doesn't sound too bad. I was surprised. My son keeps it in his room to practice with, and my wife loved it so much I had to get one for her keyboards so she could practice wherever. You can't beat it for the money.

Marshall MS-2 1 Watt Battery Black Micro Amp

For the size of this amp the sound is great, it's not a Marshall half stack but it's not as heavy. The sound is great for a little practice amp, sitting on the couch with the controls right beside you. I would recommend this amp, it's tiny but very portable, it firls in your pocket, briefcase, or suitcase, you just have to carry the guitar obviously, great Christmas or birthday gift.

If you're looking for an instantly overdriven sound, the Marshall MS-2 absolutely delivers. The tone is surprisingly good for being made pretty much entirely from plastic, though I couldn't rate it above 3.5/5 mainly because of how easily it breaks up. With just about any electric guitar, setting the volume on the instrument past about 25% and the volume on the MS-2 beyond 9 o'clock, the speaker immediately begins naturally distorting. Along with this, the Overdrive setting doesn't so much put distortion on the preamp signal as just boost the output from maybe 0.75w to a full 1w. Overall, it's not an awful amp, shockingly loud and crunchy with consideration of the dimensions and being powered by a common 9v battery, plus the tone pot is very sensitive, rolling off a lot of treble as you go down past 12 o'clock, but it won't give you the transparency of most amps even in the same price range. I'd call it a decent investment for practicing hard rock licks.
