Traveler Guitar Escape MK-II Bass - Natural Reviews

4.5 stars based on 1 customer review

It's not the size of the instrument, it's the music you can make with it!

I am a private contractor working in Iraq and play mostly Contemporary Christian, Blues and Classic Rock. This bass has a great sound, stays in tune and due to the small size and unusual looks, receives many positive comments.

Sweetwater has great service. I received this bass in Baghdad one week after I ordered it.

I have had it for about six months and there has not been a single problem. Something that is not shown in the picture is the strap actually attaches to the top of the bass via a white metal bracket. The body is bound in white plastic and the edge is sharp and becomes uncomfortable after playing for awhile.

Hey Traveler Guitar, how about producing this in the USA and rounding the body edges?

The frets are smooth and better dressed than the made in USA Fenders I own.

It has a piezo pickup and to get a smoother Fender-like tone, the treble has to be turned all the way down, but this bass will make almost any sound you want.
