In Lower Austria, near the Czech border, is a small village called Pernegg. In Pernegg is a monastery that dates back to the twelfth century. The monastery's Saint Andrew church, built in the early sixteenth century, sustained extensive damage in WWII and was fully restored in the 1960s. VSL's Pernegg Monastery brings the fabulous acoustics of Saint Andrew church to your DAW. Vienna Symphonic Library has captured the magic of the late gothic pilaster sanctuary - with its 5-sided choir apse and pillar-less nave - in all its sonic glory. Take it from Sweetwater, this reverb is something special.Historical architecture, outrageous reverb
Featuring spatial models of Pernegg's historic monastery church, Vienna MIR RoomPack 5 gives you four different mic positions to choose from: the center of the altar, in front of it, the middle of the nave, and adjacent to the choir gallery in the rear of the nave. The architectural features of the nave are noteworthy, in that there are two balconies: a lower one that includes choir stalls, and an upper that houses the organ. You get both with Vienna MIR Pro. The instrument-placement possibilities are further augmented with two extra cloister HotSpots to the left and right of the choir. Vienna Symphonic Library virtually re-created the acoustics of the church with close to 5,000 impulse responses with an average impulse response length of around six seconds; average reverb time is around 3.8 seconds.VSL Vienna MIR RoomPack 5 - Pernegg Monastery Features:
