Perfect for a mobile recording gig

I was recording a trio in a small coffee shop. Only room for my 8-track, hard disk recorder. I was tapping into the effects send/receive on the bands mixer. No room for a large patch bay, I bought two of these small bays and it was perfect to tap into the effects line. If you're looking for a small patch bay to connect recording gear, these are excellent, well made, and good for the road.

Great little patchbay

Bought this to use to have cables pass through my rack unit without passing them through open slots and having to reconnect them in the inside of the back of the rack on a dark stage. Works wonderfully for that. The fact that these are not just pass through jacks and are 1/2 normal patch bays was an unforeseen benefit. No small patch cables are required to keep signal flow moving, and I have now set up an extra column just to patch out of the rack for extra pedals to be added into the back half of my signal chain without any fussing around, just in case I have a future need for it. I can separate out / change out either or both my pre-amp or power amp from the signal chain with just changing what and where I patch into this. For rack users it is a clean solution to a messy cable problem, and makes stage setup a breeze! The PPP-000 rack mount panel is highly recommended!

great price, great Sweetwater rep, great gear

I'm a modular sort of builder for my home studio, each thing goes to certain functions. Sometimes I just need something 'small' and this unit was pointed out to me by Tim my rep at Sweetwater, and a musician, as the little solution to a problem that was big in it's area. I will continue to incrementally buy all my important gear at Sweetwater as I have since 2011.

Insertion of Hosa patch bay into my rig: resounding success

After I plugged the MHB-350 patch bay in-line into my hardware oriented rig, I found that the system was delivering a clearer audio into the recording section. The patch bay works!

Nice and compact - Sturdy Construction

Nice little Patchbay. The only item I didn't like was that I had to open the unit, unscrew the circuit boards and flip them around to get "Denormaled" operation. A small switch would have saved some pain here. Otherwise - nice for the price.
