Great right out of the package

I've tried many strings and these, recommended by a high end acoustic guitar store in ATL, are great. What they had said was that it sounded great on all of his personal guitars right from the start. Yes, it's true, from day one they sound great without that first couple of days of "piano string" over bright sound. The price is good too.

Oh my!

I cannot believe that I have finally tried a pair of strings and actually said, 'oh my!'. I mean, I definitely take the time to see which brand and type fit the particular guitar and my style, but this set of strings takes the prize!I have been searching for the right set of strings for my Taylor K26. Koa is a real boomy (creamy, but boomy) top wood and I got the guitar because I needed more projection in the live situation. BUT, my style of playing is more finesse than hard strum, and I've always enjoyed 92/8 strings for my guitars. On the K26, a Grand Symphony body, the strings always seemed so stiff and not as manageable as I'm used to.But this set of strings fixed all that!! I'm a huge fan, and I'll probably be ordering a boat load of these.

Surprising great strings

I've paid way more for strings I like a lot less. These strings really sing on my Taylor 710 LTD. Give them a try.

Quite good

I've been an Elixir fan for many years - still am. Though after trying these on my Taylor GA-K (all Koa), I may have to re-think that. Very, very nice indeed. No wonder Tommy E. plays these.
