An Intelligent Re-think of the Bass Case

The MONO Vertigo Bass Case is designed to accommodate the way we often reach for our basses: out of the side of a partially unzipped case while standing up. Guilty as charged! We've all done it, but now MONO's done something to address this haphazard (and potentially hazardous-to-your-axe) operation - the Vertigo loads from the top. It gives your bass maximum protection, too. On the bottom, there's an EVA insole and a molded rubber outsole (The Boot). It also features MONO's Headlock neck suspension system. Check out the evolution of the bass case: the MONO Vertigo.

MONO Vertigo Top-Loading Bass Case Features at a Glance:
  • Top-Loading for easy stand-up bass insertion and removal
  • EVA insole and a molded rubber outsole (The Boot) takes bass protection to a new level
  • Headlock neck suspension system - no strapping, buckling, or belting required
  • Specialized storage compartments put your gear right where you need it
  • Water-resistant Sharkskin outer shell

Worth the money

A luthier once told me dont use a cheap case for your expensive bass. This case is not cheap and so well constructed that I will trust my $3500.00 bass in it on an airplane. Nuff said.

This is the best gig bag I have ever owned. Offer maximum protection and perfect for traveling.

Best ever!

I've owned many gig bags over the years. I've literally worn a few slap OUT. Hmmm, I also learned that Telecasters bounce when a zipper fails. How stupid is it to design a bag that zips all the way to the bottom? Since I bought a Mono bag I'll never buy another brand. Yes they look good on paper but they're fantastic when you slide a prized ax in and go anywhere w/ no worries. Actually my Mono protects better than some hard shell cases I've owned. You and you Ax deserve the best. Go with a Mono.

Best bag/case I've owed

My rating is based on comparison with bags and cases of similar weight. Obviously this doesn't offer the protection of a true ATA case, and you could probably devise tests that a more standard hard shell case could pass that the MONO bag would fail. But for the most common bumps, shocks, and travel wear, the MONO is just as sturdy with plenty of semi-rigid padding, and what seem to be very durable materials. In addition, it's light easy to pack, easy to carry, and provides a good deal of storage

mono bass

I bought this case/bag to fit a Warwick 8 string bass. This bag is every bit as good as they say in the video. It's much lighter than lugging around a rectangular wood or plastic case. My reason for giving it 4 stars.....I just feel it is overpriced, but if it fits your needs, it's a great case/bag. I would recomend it.
