My new baby!! OK...how can I put this into words... When I sit down with my M3, a minute doesn't go by and I start swaying with the music. The M3 dynamically reacts to my playing like an acoustic instrument but at a much deeper level as literally every button, knob, fader and physical aspect of it is part of the instrument and the music making experience. It feels logically connected to me and my creative spirit. I cannot say this about any other music workstation in this price range. The M3 has captivated me and I'm utterly under its spell. Thank you Korg for bringing another true innovation home.
Love the keys
I absolutely love the keyboard action on the M3-88...the feel of the keys is perfect , the touch & responsiveness in connection with the combi's & presets is excellent!...The xpanded Piano comes installed from Sweetwater & its ready to go right out of the box.
My last consideration in purchasing was the Karma function..& I have to say "now that I have it" I will be exploring Karma much of the time that I am playing.
If Korg is looking for suggestions mine is to have a dedicated button & mix control to add a Piano to any sound you choose without editing.
Oh yeah the touch screen ! wow!.
I always want to get a Korg keyboard since the days of the trinity, but never could seem to get up the cabbage to purchase one until now. I had my m3 for a little over a week and I must tell you that it is worth evey penny. The piano samples are off the chain. I've had the opportunity to play $100k pianos by yamaha and I must say that the 4 way piano samples are very realistic and the sound great!. The m3 piano is very unique and the dynamics are fantastic whether you are playing gospel, classical, or even smooth jazz. I own the fantom x8, g6, and a yamaha clavinova which all are great sounding instrument to have, but the Korg add originality and a different mixture of sounds. Some might say that the m3 does compare to the motif xs series, but I'm hear to tell you the the Korg is as real as it gets. If you haven't tried the m3 yet go check it out for yourself. I am convinced you will be very impressed.
I spent many hours looking for the right keyboard for my daughter. Store clerks kept trying to stear me to other major popular brands and I found out it was because they were more familiar with those others and knew nothing about the M3. I'm glad I pursued more information because this turned out to be the perfect keyboard. I love the flexibility of it. A simple example is the piano sound. When you turn it on what you get is a good, but dry piano sound that is not all that impressive, however start moving the sliders and you can find that perfect sound that blows you away. The feel of the keyboard is exceptional. My daughter and wife are both very accomplished pianists and love the feel. My daughter was intuitively able to start laying down recording tracks right away. We added the memory and the Oasis Synth module. This keyboard has opened the world up to my daughter. I could go on and on. Do not pass up giving this keyboard a serious look.
This keyboard is AWESOME
I love this board, if you got G.A.S. (gear acquisition syndrome) like me, you want the best of the best. The bells and whistles are endless and with this new M3 you can change the way music is made and bring a new flavor.
Korg is great, they just keep giving you free sounds to upgrade and free gear.
The feel of the keys on this 88 is awesome. It is a must have for the studio.
GET it stop messing around. Sweetwater will take care of you.
Too Bad the Radius Module are gone (I hear)...
Great Board, Great Price. Own one and love it! The 1/2 star is because you cant add more than 256 meg of RAM. I wish KORG would come out with a bigger memory stick/card that fits it.
