Whether you're looking for a lightweight amp to boost your acoustic sound for a live show or a great mini PA you can use for practice, you're going to love this little amplifier. The 120-watt Fishman Loudbox Artist weighs around 25 lbs., yet it can fill a small- to medium-sized venue with enough sound to stand on its own. As they do with all of their gear, Fishman built the Loudbox Artist to bring out the most natural sound from your instrument. It features practical functions, including chorus and reverb effects, feedback suppression, dual effects loops, and simple-to-use EQ controls.

The Loudbox Artist's auxiliary input lets you easily hook up your MP3 player or metronome. Its XLR direct output comes in handy when you play live, allowing you to monitor onstage and send a balanced signal to the mixing board - without the hassle of running an extra DI box. Of course, the direct XLR output also makes the Loudbox Artist a great recording amp, though its combination of a 8" low-frequency driver and a 1" tweeter sounds truly excellent when miked up.

Professional System with Professional Service

I want to thank Mr. Andrew Plassman for his professional service, in helping me with my Fishman product purchase. First off the package deal offered is amazing, something that one does not want to miss out on especially if you are involved in making music and continued gigging. I originally ordered the Fishman Loudbox Mini Package. The Mini has amazing tone, clarity, and very good wattage (60W), but minus the extra features like feedback control. I play in a 10 piece 50' and 60's band so I decided to go with the Fishman Loudbox Artist (120) due to the many extra features plus feedback control. Mr. Plassman helped me arrange for exchanged from the Mini to the Artist Model. The process was so smooth that one thinks is this right? But thank you Andrew for making this exchange happen. The Fishman Loudbox Artist is an amazing acoustic amp with amazing tone, clarity and very powerful (120W). Fishman hit the mark for acoustic electric players with this amp.

This package is a no brainer!!

First off Im not much for writing reviews. I always dig in and read all the reviews prior to buying a product. This package is a great one for the additional items you get for the money. I was lookin for an all in one amp to be able to sing and play guitar! the sound of this amp is amazing you can really tailer your sound both vocal and instrument wise. I have a seagull s6 original that had no electronics on it. I originally was gonna just have a sound hole pickup to be able to amplify it. The pickup did the job but sounded to electric for my taste. I went to a coffee house show recently and heard a gentleman playing. pretty much through a tuner pedal into a fender passport that was it but his guitar sounded amazing. I asked what he had for onboard electronics and he said just K & K sound pure mini. I was sold I had found the sound I was after!! The s6 with the mini installed through the loudbox truly sound like your stock acoustic just amplified. I highly recommend this amp and pure mini if your lookin for a pickup for your non electric guitar. The sound quality is amazing and the added mic, stand, and cord are a bonus no brainer!! Thank you sweetwater!!!

This amp is awesome for electric violin

I recently got into playing electric violin (Barcus Berry AE) after playing acoustic for many years, and realized that the sound I was getting from my practice Fender guitar amp just didn't sound natural. Plus, I needed something with more power to be heard over a drum kit. After reading many reviews and consulting with my rep, Chris, I decided to bite the bullet and buy the Loudbox Artist. Can't say enough good things about the tone for violin. It gives it a clean, rich, acoustic sound that's difficult to describe and now I get tons of compliments on my playing. I can easily be heard over vocals, a guitar, and a drum kit at less than half the volume setting. Add in some reverb, and I am ready to rock. Could not be happier with this amp. This is my first microphone, so I can't say too much about it in relation to others, but it has a nice sound and low feedback. I was thrilled that I essentially got the mic and stand for free compared to what other shops wanted for just the amp by itself. For those who aren't mic savvy (I wasn't, but tech support straightened me out), there's an adapter inside the mic holder that needs to be unscrewed and removed before it will fit to attach to the stand.

Fishman Loudbox Artist Songwriter Package

After lengthy searching for an amp/sound system to play small to medium sized venues such as wine tasting rooms, restaurants and parties, my sales engineer Evan Mulvihill at Sweetwater made the decision easy (after all my indecision and lots of questions). I went back and forth between the Yamaha Stagepas 400i, the Roland AC-60 and the Fishman Loudbox Artist (Evan recommended I go with the Fishman Loudbox in the first place - I should have listened, for I would have saved both of us a lot of time). All of my order was just delivered, on time as indicated. Out of the box, this amp sounds amazing. Super compact and stylish, perfect for my intended use, and it packs a LOT of power. I doubt I'll ever turn it up past half-way. Clean sound, great effects, and all the "workhorse" features I wanted/need/will use without a bunch of useless "bells and whistles". For the price I paid ($549.00) the essentially "free" mic, mic stand and cable were just an added bonus on top of a bonus. In hindsight knowing how compact this amp is, I would have spent the extra $220.00 and gone with the Loudbox Performer (although I say that without having actually played through the Performer) just for the extra power and midrange. I play a Cordoba Solista CE and an acoustic, and they both sound even better than I hoped or imagined - and I've still have some learning to do when it comes to dialing-in the sound the Loudbox I know offers, and I look forward to it. Can't say enough about how much I dig this amp, and when it comes to customer care, Evan ROCKS (and ROLLS, JAMS and gets FUNKY) - Sweetwater, too. Buying from Evan and Sweetwater is the best customer care and buying experience I've ever encountered. Yeah, I'm a customer for life - Sweetwater is my #1 go-to for all my music needs. What more can I say? Thanks Evan and Sweetwater!
