    Love Tap Tempo

I have two amps with built in Tremolo - Peavey Delta Blues and Dr. Z Z-Lux. Both have great Tremolos. The only draw back . . . it's hard to set the tempo. I have tried several Tap Trems. All have been to harsh.

I picked this one up from Sweetwater with pretty low expectations. Boy, was i stoked when i first heard this bad boy. I plugged it up, "Noon"ed the dials, and set it on Wide Sin Wave. I was thrilled.

Warm, smooth swells! Tap the tempo needed and get a nice Bluesy tremolo. I can set it for the tune at hand. In full disclosure, i still use the amp Tremolos. But, this is the gig goto to keep the pace on stage.

I like the input and output jacks on top. This is a wide pedal. The switches are close to the edge. It's easy to grab the pedal next to it if you are not careful. I wish the Tempo and Bypass were swapped. Then, i could tap my delay tempo and trem tempo at the same time.

Most Advanced Trem Pedal you'll ever meet!

An absolute stunner - a tremolo pedal with additional controls, and TAP TEMPO! By now you know the drill: the song starts out at the right tempo but after the first chorus the drummer is playing slower. No problem, just step on the Tap Tempo a few times and get your tremolo back into groove with the beat.
Check out the specs - 3 different waveforms, and note sub-division are included with the controls. You can dial in the style and sound of the tremolo that you desire.

    Versatile Tremolo

I don't have a lot of experience with other tremolo pedals and so for that reason I figure I would just say great. It's all in there, from Born on the Bayou to How Soon is Now, I have yet to find a Tremolo type that I cannot dial up. From subtle to over the top and everything in the middle. I've run into both my effects loop and the front end where I currently have it but it sounded great in either location. I hear a very low amount of reactive noise on the oscillator which is more pronounced with higher gain but that may be normal for most or all tremolos or perhaps it's related to the way I have it powered from a non isolated D.C. Brick. I plan on changing that soon with a better isolated power supply and will update my review if it helps but it so low in the mix it has not been a concern.

    Nice

This is a very nice tremolo. The control layout is nice but Im still learning to use it. The tap tempo feature, and the smaller size of the pedal make it ideal for a performing guitarist. I use gear for studio work but mostly for performing. So of course I want it to sound good but it also has to be super tough, work for both clean, crunch and high gain settings, adaptable to performance demands, and be fairly easy to use. This fits the bill. The only drawback I could find is that it can sound a bit cold. You'll need to adjust your amp a bit to work well with this pedal. The note subdivision control is really nice too. All in all, this pedal is really nice.
