Great ukulele, great price! LU Series ukes are Lanikai's most popular and most affordable. They're the perfect first ukulele for any acoustic instrument lover. Built well to both play and sound great, the LU-21C is a concert ukulele. Its top, back, and sides are all comprised of Nato wood, which comes from Mora trees. The tonewood is known for its attractive light brown color and warm-sounding, mahogany-like tone. The LU-21C adds a rosewood fingerboard that nicely complements the Nato's warm tone. If you're looking for your first concert ukulele, look no more! The Lanikai LU-21C is a great choice.

Lanikai Uke
I say this without being the one who plays the instrument but my daughter is loving it! I am blown away by the great service and followup that the company provides. I feel very confident that if there were a problem it would be rectified right away. The packing was nice and it arrived with no damage and in a timely manner....it is beautiful in appearance and sound. She has at least 3 songs down and says how easy it is to learn.
A Solid Beginners Uke
I was pleasantly surprised when I received this ukulele. I was worried about many things when I purchased this rather inexpensive uke. All of this worries were laid to rest, however when I looked over and played this uke. The action is nice, the frets are not sharp at the edge of the board, it stays in tune well once you wear in the strings a bit, and the intonation is flawless. Yes, I just said that the intonation is flawless. I played each and every fret down to the fourteenth fret and none of the notes were flat or sharp. The reason I am giving it a 4.5 is because while it is amazing for what it is, it is still an all laminate made in china ukulele. If you are looking for a first uke or are looking to gift a young musician their first uke then I would highly recommend this product.Don't forget to purchase a tuner and maybe a few extra pack of strings, though.
