    70's Tribute Gibson Les Paul

I love this guitar. I can get sounds out of this guitar that you cannot get from any other guitar. The sustain is incredible. It is everything I had hoped for and more. I wish I had bought one long ago. It's worth every penny.

Great guitar for a great price

Pros: Price, quality build, Dirty Fingers pickups are incredible, comfortable neck, good tuners, nice looking finish, not too heavy, made in USA

Cons: I don't like the feel of the witch hat knobs, prefer the Gibson speed ones, Also not sure about the durability of the finish. Seems a little bit soft to me.

Overall: I have owned several Les Pauls over the years, and while some of them are better overall, the price is what makes this one a winner. The Dirty Fingers pickups alone are worth it. Gibson quality seems to have improved lately.

    solid workhorse

I have a 1980 Les Paul Custom that I love, but it's getting old and I needed something to take is place for gigs. The 70s Tribute was just what I needed. It feels and plays spectacular. I'm loving the Dirty Fingers pickups. They're very responsive to your picking attack and are very well suited for just about everything from clean Jazz, Country, Blues, and Rock to the heaviest of Metal and most brutal Grind. I got this axe as a workhorse, sight unseen and without playing it first and I couldn't be more happy with it.

    I Like It

It just got here and I've been playing it all day. It's been a blast. I was a little disappointed at first, finish isn't all that good, the frets are sharp, the knobs are kinda cheesy, and overall it's a little rough, but, it sounds great ! plays good, stays in tune, and has a good feel to it. i like it better than the 2013 SG standard that cost more. thanks Sweetwater, think i'll keep it !
