As good as a real 59'

It's a tad expensive, not going to dent that, But I had the opportunity to play an original 1959 Gibson Les Paul and this guitar is certainly on par with, if not better than an original. I absolutely love this guitar and would never get rid of it. Plays like butter and has tone and sustain for days. Going to guitar stores now is disappointing because what i have at home is so much better. Worth the investment.

    Holy Grail

I have owned this guitar since 2005. I did a review on this guitar previously. I have since played this guitar alot since then and it has become such apart of me in my style of music, mainly blues. This guitar has such sustain and with the thicker style neck from the 59' era, this guitar is so much easier to play, especially when it comes to bending the strings. No wonder why Jimi Page, Slash and countless other guitarists choose a Gibson Les Paul for their go to guitars. This has been one of the best investments in guitars I have ever made. Once again, it is kind of pricey, but well worth the time and money spent on this amazing instrument. No wonder is is called "The Holy Grail" of guitars. You CANNOT go wrong with this guitar. It is truly a "Heirloom" type of guitar you would want to hand down to your family members. If I could rate is higher, I surely would.

    59` Reissue

This is by far the best electric guitar I own. I have several high end electrics and this one reigns supreme. I bought mine in 2005 before the VOS era Gibson's Les Paul's and the flame on mine is absolutely stunning. Gibson has done a REALLY good job of recreating the "Holy Trail" of electrics. It plays really easily and comfortably. The thick neck really makes bending strings so much easier. Sure it is pretty pricey, but it is a great investment also. I would HIGHLY recommend. You will not regret the investment in this guitar.

    Best Les Paul of All

This was my first Gibson Les a Paul purchase. The folks at Sweetwater listened to my needs and brought me together with the guitar of my dreams. There's no doubt that the 2013 Historic Les Psul's are some of the best made Les Paul's to date. This is the best feeling, best sounding and best looking Les Paul I could have ever imagined. Thank you Sweetwater for matching me up with the second love of my life. I'm a Sweetwater customer for life.
