I have owned this guitar since 2005. I did a review on this guitar previously. I have since played this guitar alot since then and it has become such apart of me in my style of music, mainly blues. This guitar has such sustain and with the thicker style neck from the 59' era, this guitar is so much easier to play, especially when it comes to bending the strings. No wonder why Jimi Page, Slash and countless other guitarists choose a Gibson Les Paul for their go to guitars. This has been one of the best investments in guitars I have ever made. Once again, it is kind of pricey, but well worth the time and money spent on this amazing instrument. No wonder is is called "The Holy Grail" of guitars. You CANNOT go wrong with this guitar. It is truly a "Heirloom" type of guitar you would want to hand down to your family members. If I could rate is higher, I surely would.
