Deep Bass, Snare-like Snap, and it's Built in the USA!

Carefully engineered and built by hand right here in the USA, the Latin Percussion Americana Snare-style Cajon has a wonderfully woody tone with a snare-drum-like snap. The soundboard is hand-selected lyptus and okoume wood - very beautiful, with a lively sound. The unique design emphasizes both the low-end thump and the crisp, snappy attack - it's perfect for acoustic ensembles where a full drum kit would be out of place. Great Cajon!

Loving this cajon. After trying numerous models I settled on this one because of the wide range of tones I was able to achieve. Looks good just sitting in the room too but once friends get together everyone wants a turn on the cajon. A must have wherever musicians gather.
Music background: Full time music outreach to hospitalized children

Quality Cajon

Good separation of tone between the top end and the bottom. Good snap on the snare with plenty of room for feathering fills. Quality construction. Photograph does not do wood tones justice. Some slight wear has appeared on the finish near the edges, but that's to be expected with 10 to 15 hours of slapping a week. Mics easily, but good sound without. After trying several, I've been gigging with this cajon since I purchased over a year ago.
