Get Ready for Awesome Onstage Sound!

Set up the Bose L1 Model II portable PA system onstage, and you won't believe the amazingly clear sound it projects - to virtually every corner of the room. This compact, lightweight, and super-sleek PA system combines two proprietary Bose technologies, for exceptionally uniform sound - nearly 180 degrees of consistent tonal coverage, in fact. Not only does that even dispersion benefit the audience, but it lets each performer hear exactly what the audience hears - so you won't have to mess with monitor mixes. Portable and powerful, the Bose L1 Model II portable PA is perfect for on-the-go performers.

Bose L1 Model II All-in-one PA System at a Glance:
  • Wide, uniform sound coverage
  • Deep bass from small enclosures
  • Light and easy
  • Add the ToneMatch audio engine for multichannel power
Wide, uniform sound coverage

The Bose L1 Model II system's breakthrough Spatial Dispersion loudspeaker system produces wide, uniform sound coverage of nearly 180 degrees. It projects that sound onstage and throughout an audience of up to several hundred - with little drop off in volume and tone. The Bose L1 Model II system also features Articulated Array speaker technology for better tonal balance. The loudspeaker's 24 vertically mounted drivers are precisely angled to create clearer highs and more consistent tone in the room. Even people off to the sides of these stage speakers enjoy well-balanced, detailed sound - all courtesy of the Bose L1 Model II.

Deep bass from small enclosures

Bose L1 Model II systems come with two B1 bass modules, to ensure more accurate amplification of lower notes for most voices and such instruments as guitars, keyboards, and various horns. The benefit of B1 bass modules is that they're lighter and smaller than conventional subwoofers required for the same performance. And for even more bass, you can use a PackLite power amplifier and additional B1 bass modules.

Light and easy

The Bose L1 Model II power stand weighs only 24 pounds, and its four retractable legs make it very easy to transport and set up.The power stand also has a simplified control section; the single line-level input can be used with instruments, microphones, mixers, laptops, MP3 players or DVD systems.
All of the system's components are also built to handle the road. That's because the loudspeaker has a rugged, reinforced grille, and each package includes padded carrying bags for major components.

Add the ToneMatch audio engine for multichannel power

To quickly expand your Bose L1 Model II system - and harness powerful sound-tuning capabilities - you can add the T1 ToneMatch audio engine. It gives you additional I/O, plus Bose's largest library of ToneMatch presets. Just touch a button to make hundreds of precise refinements to the sound of instruments and microphones. Onboard the T1 ToneMatch, you'll also find a suite of studio-class reverbs, additional effects, and dynamics processing. It's the perfect way to get the most out of your Bose L1 Model II.

Bose L1 Model II Dual Bass System

Our band has 6 stacks of these we've been using for 3 years now and we love them. Got tired of hefting a traditional PA with heavy cabinets and gave these a try. We are a very high tech 'backing tracks' 5 piece group and we use them in a different way then Bose recommends. 3 stacks for the backing tracks and 3 stacks for strictly vocals all running from a Mackie 4 bus Onyx mixing console. Works great for us. We've played many rooms and outdoors with this system and audiences love that you don't blow out their ears yet they can hear the band well from everywhere in the room. GREAT coverage! As long as you have these set up at least 8 feet behind the vocal mikes you can really blast them without feedback. No need then for monitors saving more space and $'s. The band hears what the audience hears and it is much easier to blend our live instruments (electric guitars, electronic drum kit, percussionist and keyboardist) with the backing tracks for correct balance. (backing tracks are all bass guitar parts, 3rd guitar parts, extra keyboard parts--drummer doesn't even need a click track) Works extremely well for our band!
