Step up to the top-of-the-line S Premium Series

Ibanez's S Premium Series is filled with wonderful instruments - all featuring the famous S-shaped body style and excellent components through and through. With the Kiko Loureiro Signature KIKO10P, you get a well-balanced, resonant alder body and a lightning-fast Kiko-profile Premium neck with a rosewood fingerboard. It's a time-tested recipe for hard-hitting rock/metal/fusion tone and playability.

DiMarzio KIKO original pickups are sweet and responsive

From metal to jazz fusion, Kiko Loureiro nails it. His signature DiMarzio KIKO original pickups (in an HSH configuration) are designed to do it all. The neck and bridge humbuckers have medium output and a balanced sound - similar to the PAF Pro, but with a bit more gain. The single-coil in the middle position is warmer-sounding and more high-gain than a typical vintage single-coil, and it balances beautifully with the neck and bridge pickups. Sweet and responsive, this pickup combo is the bomb.

Innovative pickup switching gives you ten different coil combinations

You can mix this heady HSH tonefest with a 5-way blade, but here's where it gets real interesting: the recessed volume pot is a push-pull affair that gives you access to a staggering range of ten humbucking, single-coil, and coil combos. Tasty! The guitarists here at Sweetwater are quite enthused about these electronics. You will be, too.

Warning: Guitar Addiction Eminent....

I have to admit that the Ibanez Kiko sounds and plays incredibly well for a guitar that is at the price point that Sweetwater offered it for. My other guitars are getting jealous of me paying so much attention to it. I think I need to have the action lowered a bit more than where it's at now but man, this guitar is just ridiculously fun to play.

Great Guitar was worth the wait

I have had the guitar for a couple of weeks awesome is all I can say got it from Sweetwater and it was perfect.I have played it about 20 hours and still haven't had to tune it!!

Amazing guitar

The pickups are my new favorites in all the guitars I own. Their clarity is astounding across a wide range of notes being played simultaneously, truly a wonderful surprise. The coil tap sounds fantastic as well, having played it next to my American Telecaster, they are virtually indistinguishable. The neck feels a bit thicker than on my S series guitars (1mm by spec) and they didn't seal the wood it seems (they do on the headstock though. Not a complaint, just something I didn't know before buying. The top matches the Japanese KIKO 100 TRR in quality IMO. No regrets by getting the Indonesian made one at all. This is now my favorite of all my Ibanez guitars after playing it for roughly a week. The thicker S body and cutaways are pretty nice too, still skinny though compared to my Les Pauls :-)If you're considering buying/ordering this, I don't see how you could be disappointed.
