Exquisite little instrument!

Got mine while visiting Hawaii and immediately fell in love with it! The arch top look is way cool, and it plays and sounds great! Very well crafted too!

A Real Sweetheart

Everyone seems to fall in love with this little guy. It certainly has a cool 1920s vibe about it, as well as it's jazz box feel. Beyond it's attractiveness, it has real versatility in that it sounds great acoustically but also comes with a nice sounding pickup and built in preamp. The Gotoh-style closed tuners are high quality, and precise. I can't imagine any not loving this uke, especially for jazz.

Love it!

Have been playing Uke for about 11 years now and am always on the look out for something new and different, I know that says alot about me LOLAnyhow, this Uke has great sound, I love the highs on this one. Makes it sound like your playing a concert but with the comfort of the Tenor size. My only complaint, I had some buzz and thought is was that the action was too low. Changed out the saddle for a taller one which got rid of the string buzz but my electronics still had a buzz. I ended up sending it back to Kala and they repaired it and returned it, via my local music store, and it only cost me shipping. So a good experience with Kala and their support. All in all I love the style and sound of this Uke, it has now become my go to uke for amped playing and my church's worship team is very happy to have their Uke player back in business! One other note, Kala has stopped makming this model/style so get them and keep them while they're in stock. Could be a collector some day :)
